He has adapted Taiwanese folk songs, popular songs, and concertos into piano solos, and has published four volumes of music scores. He is one of the very few pianists in Taiwan who combines superb piano skills, musical creativity, and arrangement skills.

As early as 2006, when he was studying in Vienna, he received the special honor - the "Giver Prize" awarded by the Giefra Foundation. Since his student days, he has stood out in many international competitions. As a result, he has been invited to perform overseas one after another from all over the world. His footprints have spread all over Austria, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Romania, Slovakia, the United States, Canada, and Japan, and he has performed in more than 40 cities including the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Salzburg, Stuttgart, and Munich... Performed in important concert halls, the orchestras it has collaborated with over the years include: Austrian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Pacific Chamber Orchestra, Berlin Classical Musicians Orchestra, Romania Arad Philharmonic, Japan Sendai Philharmonic, Taiwan Philharmonic, Taipei City Symphony Orchestra, Changchun Philharmonic Orchestra Wing Symphony Orchestra, etc., also have outstanding performances in the fields of modern and contemporary music and chamber music. When they toured the West Coast of the United States in 2016, King County, Washington State, USA specially designated July 9 of that year as " "The Day of Lu Yi". Born in Taipei, Lu Yizhi studied piano since childhood. He received a master's degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and received the highest performer diploma from the Berlin University of the Arts. He currently serves as a full-time assistant professor at the National Taipei University of the Arts.
